Katchoo doesn't have CLEAVAGE! Come on, OZ, back to earth. Francine has cleavage (motherhood, femininity), Katchoo has a beautiful mouth (hence the irony of what comes out of it).

I really like the cover to 38. But looking at it and the back kinda got me thinking: Who is it suposed to be? In my opinion, it's obviously supposed to be Katchoo. But why would Terry have K dressed up like that on the cover, if she says in the book that it's the last time? I know that this may not seem like a big deal, but looking at the next issues supposed cover, it looks like more of the same... Anyone not think I'm crazy??

So, does that mean that the next issue will feature Katchoo and her big mouth? Displaying her usual lack of tact and possibly driving Francine further away?

The covers are going to be a play on both of them.. like back when the airplane accident, we had a dark cover with Katchoo and then one with Francie, but that was lighter in tone.
We have two fiery reds cover now, one with Francie in the cover, with the facts that we identify more with Francie (cleavage, et al) and Katchoo's lips, (we identify with 'em since way back from I dream of you)
Or at least, that's what I get so far. *shrugs*

*dances* *cheers*
we got a shot of a frame on the back cover!!! yay, terry! whooo-hooooo!
*pants*
okay. i just missed the hell out of that. and the image on the back sums it up pretty well. kat, dressed up like someone she's not (someone else's skin?), left out alone in the cold. makes me think of the page in the dark where she says "i've never felt so alone in my life." it *looks* alone.
and david in this issue reminds me so much of my lover, it's scary.
okay, okay, back to the original reason for this post: terry, is this a one-time thing to taunt me? are you going to go back to putting a random frame from the issue on the back cover?
(mostly because i remember sitting in rush hour traffic trying to get home with v2 #9 lying face down in the passenger seat, and having to stare at that picture on the back of katchoo in tears. it drove me nuts!
...*looks around* but i like it.)

This just made my day! As I was typing out this topic, I thought to myself, well, this cover is so obvious that this thread will just sink like nothing... But not only did it flourish (somewhat) I get a personalized reply from Terry?? Man, thats great! Okay, Terry, since I know that youre reading this, thanks for the reply, and I'll see you in San Fran!
